The province planned to develop industrial shrimp farming model, using high-technology application in large scale, without using chemical and anti-biotics in all methods and steps from production to consumption of product. According to the plan, by 2020, the value of shrimp production in the province would reach over $ 70 million, with the annual average growth rate of shrimp export of 3.13 per cent. Total area of brackish shrimp farming would be 1,943 ha, while total production of brackish water shrimp would be 9,950 tons.
